Our product line is primarily intended to target and catch Striped Bass, Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass, Crappie and Walleye, but works great for many other predatory species as well.
If you are one of those fishermen who consider jigs as your grab-first-and-tie-on-go-to bait, you need to check out our rabbit hair jig line. There is nothing quite like them for durability and fish catching appeal. They are not at all like ordinary straight bucktail hair or Marabou feather jigs. And certainly not at all like soft, plastic jigs that rip and shred after just a few fish attack them.
What sets our jigs apart are twin tails, or skirts, of silky soft rabbit hair on a supple tanned hide backing. That method of construction provides many advantages over an all-hair, feather, or plastic bait. The hide backing offers remarkable durability while providing a unique swimming action no other jig tail material can possibly duplicate; on the retrieve, the hide vibrates and quivers at a high cyclic rate that mimics the tail fin action of a fleeing forage fish, while the rabbit hair itself streamlines to form a perfect baitfish profile. At the pause, the twin tails bloom and pulse as though alive. There’s nothing else quite like it available anywhere.
Our hard bait line strives to duplicate the best of proven fish catching patterns and styles and are offered at competitive prices far below the exotic rip-offs on today's market. All of our baits are carefully hand crafted. They may look a little different to some because we don't make our baits with the idea of fooling the fisherman. Our baits are made with one goal in mind. And that's to fool fish! They do that very well.
Our line of flies and streamers are geared towards striped bass, smallmouth and largemouth bass. You won't find any size-22 midge patterns in there. All are either sizes 2 or 4 and require a big stick to handle them. For the folks that look forward to the challenge of teasing bass with a fly rod the patterns we offer can't be beat. The selection isn't huge because we zero in on what works to catch the targeted specie. Anything else would just be window dressing.
We use only premium hooks and hardware on our hard-bait line. Split-rings are nickel-plated spring steel and our treble hooks are either Mustad "Triple-Grip" or Eagle Claw 2x Lazer Sharp in size-6 on the "Pop-Ratz", "Fat-Ratz", and "Rat-Trap" models, and size-4 on the "Travlin-Rat" models.
We reserve the right to change model specifications without notice, but if we do, you may be assured we do so only to improve the product and not to cut costs. The upgrade to Mustad "Triple-Grip" treble hooks is an example of this. We made this change without a price increase, even though the component cost to us is somewhat higher. We are constantly on the alert for ways to provide an improved product and suggestions from the customer are always welcomed.
When you look over our product line, remember that all prices quoted INCLUDE shipping and handling and applicable taxes. That's right,, we ship all products POSTAGE PAID !! No more hassle or guess work trying to figure out what the tax or postage charges might be. There aren't any! We don't have a minimum order fee either. Life is already more complicated than it needs to be.
