We use tanned rabbit hide backing on all of our skirts to provide outstanding durability and to do double duty as a scent pad. You might compare and think of it as pork rind with hair. In the water, the combination of super-soft rabbit fur and the supple hide backing provides moves that no synthetic material can match and no fish can resist. You have to see it and try it to believe it!!
All of our baits are carefully hand painted and tied and each is a unique original, with no two looking exactly the same. They may look a little different to the eye that is accustomed to fishing modern, hard baits but we don't create these baits to fool fishermen. Our baits are made with but one goal in mind. And that is to fool the fish. They do that very well.
